Charles Eston Huff, Jr.

Charles Eston Huff, Jr., 88, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at his residence with his daughter and caretaker Susan Barnes by his side. He was born July 26, 1924 to the late Charles E. and Ethel Huff. He served in the United States Navy during World War II as a Boatswain's Mate First Class, was a proud graduate of Clemson University, and retired from the U.S. Customs Service in 1988. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Richmond Hill, the Alee Shrine Temple, was a Brother in the Bryan Masonic Lodge #303 in Richmond Hill, and was Past President of the Bee Keeper's Association. He was also a dedicated member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees N.A.R.F.E..

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of sixty years, Helen Huff, and grandson, Seth Julian Huff.

He is survived by his two daughters, Susan Barnes, of Savannah, Georgia, Margaret Verstien Jed, of Charlotte, North Carolina, and one son, Charles E. Huff, III Sethalene, of Saluda, South Carolina. He leaves behind one granddaughter, Morgan Barnes, one grandson Eston Huff Casey; as well as two sisters, Nancy Huff, Margaret Kay, and one brother, Harold Huff, along with several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Huff was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to all he met.

Visitation will be 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 8, 2013 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Service will be 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 8, 2013 at Fox and Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
Private burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Greenville, South Carolina.
